How to Get Involved with Making a Difference

The Central Coast Chapter of For The Children currently has two main programs:

Royal Family Kids Camp and Royal Family Mentor Club

Royal Family Kids Camp is a faith-based one week residential summer camp that provide foster, adopted, and children in high risk situations with 5 days of important childhood experiences. We focus on providing a week of fun, unconditional love, positive and safe relationships, healthy coping skills. We serve kids from Santa Cruz, Monterey, and Santa Clara counties between the ages of 7-11.

Royal Family Mentor Program is an extension of camp, an important way for us continue to stay connected to our campers for most of the year. Mentor club meets once a month on a Saturday morning for four hours during the school year.

There are many ways you can get involved from small commitments to full time counselor. All full time and most part time positions require the full application process (application with references, interview, Livescan, 3 mandatory training sessions). Below you will find explanations of the positions available. Your sacrifice of time, talent, or money can change the lives of these children in a major way.

No donation of time or money is too small to make a difference! Please join us in making moments matter!

Applicants must be mature, responsible, and flexible.

Birthday Party

Part Time Position, full application process not required

Help us throw an epic birthday party to celebrate our campers! Some of our kids have never experienced a birthday party or received gifts meant just for them. Spread the word

We rely on word of mouth to spread the word of our ministry. Please share our Facebook and Instagram posts. Tell your pastors and small group leaders about how important this work is. Training: Meals
